What to Expect
For two days, the Alte Münze transforms into a vibrant showcase for the art and culture of paper: dense shelves of rarities to browse, curated gallery presentations to linger over, rare photographs and original graphics to discover — and, in between, collectors, dealers, and artists in conversation. Visitors rarely leave the fair empty-handed, but they almost always leave with new ideas.
Around 50 Exhibitors
Vintage Paper Berlin brings together a carefully curated selection of exhibitors from the most diverse fields of paper: photographers with vintage prints and historical images are represented alongside dealers in historical posters and graphic art, art galleries, independent artists, and publishers and editions specializing in contemporary book art. The largest part of the fair is made up of high-quality antiquarian dealers offering a mixed range of rare books, graphics, and ephemera.
The curatorial thread that connects them all: paper from the beginnings of the art of printing to the present day.

Friday, September 18, 2 pm — Open Q&A with booklooker.de
The management of booklooker.de will be on hand to answer questions about selling books online. Exclusively for fair visitors: one month of free, commission-free selling for new customers.
Sales Booth: Strawalde
On the occasion of his 95th birthday, the painter Strawalde will be showing and selling original artist's books, overpainted books ("Übermalungen"), and graphic works.
About the Fair
Vintage Paper Berlin — a fair for antiquarian books, photography, and art — presents the antiquarian trade in all its diversity: from rare books and graphic art to art, photography, and vintage advertising on paper. The fair is organized by Beste Sammelfreunde UG, a company that has been running various fairs and markets for over 35 years, and whose managing director has been active in the antiquarian trade for just as long.
Vintage Paper Berlin is supported by, and cooperates with, the Association of German Antiquarian Booksellers (Verband der Deutschen Antiquare), which organizes the parallel Rare Book Berlin fair at the Kronprinzenpalais from September 18–20.
